GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA

I was born in Warren, Ohio, and raised in Naples, Florida. After beginning college at the University of Florida, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I hold a professional teaching license and a Master in Catechesis degree from the Catholic University of America.

I have four children (Isaac, Joseph, Grace, and Eve), a German Shepherd named Max, and two cats named Leo and Frankie. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, reading, cooking, and watching movies. Prior to working at St. Pius X, I was an Advanced Placement English and Psychology Teacher, Yearbook Adviser, and Student Council Moderator at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Kernersville, NC.

I was Baptized and Confirmed as an infant in the Eastern Byzantine Rite at Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren, Ohio. I made my First Holy Communion at St. William’s Roman Catholic Church in Naples, Florida, and have been a member of St. Pius X since moving to Greensboro in 2007.

I have been involved in many aspects of community life at St. Pius X, through both the parish and the school. I enjoy volunteering my time to help with fundraisers and events and I have served the parish as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Minister of the Word, and as the editor of our website and parish newsletter.

My current role as Pastoral Associate encompasses all of our Formational programs for children and adults, Sacramental Preparation, Parish Communications, and Evangelization efforts.
